If you're planning on leaving your vehicle here with us, there are a number of steps you should to get it ready for its long stay.
Protect Your Vehicle from Condensation Buildup
Condensation damages vehicles like nothing else; it corrodes the lines and inner parts of your vehicle. Wipe down your windows and surfaces with a dry cloth, vacuum your interior, and air your vehicle out on a dry day in order to reduce moisture. Inflate your tires, remove the wiper blades, get an oil change, and fill up your gas tank. If you want to take the final extra step in protecting your vehicle from condensation, consider purchasing a fabric vehicle cover.
Wash and Wax Your Vehicle
This protects it against contaminants and particles that might settle on it during its time in storage. On a less practical note, it's nice to have your vehicle looking its best when you finally do take it out of storage!
Roll Your Windows Down Slightly
Keeping your windows slightly open will allow for even air flow and prevent overheating while inside the garage, but make sure to lock your vehicle's doors
for that extra bit of security.
Consider a Battery Maintainer
If you're planning on storing your vehicle for an extended period of time, using a battery maintainer will make sure your battery doesn't lose its charge while it sits in storage.
If you take the proper steps when it comes to car storage to keep your vehicle in good shape, you'll be putting your best food forward when it comes time to bring it into our facility for storage.
