MINI STORAGE UNITS

Some facilities bill themselves as "mini storage" when really they are using the term interchangeably with "self storage." The term originates from decades past, but these days it can be misleading. Our facility offers smaller units to truly give you mini options. Our 8 and 15 cubic foot lockers give you smaller options if you just need one small space to store a few things. We also offer 3x3 and 5x5 units, which are ideal for storing some spare items like seasonal decorations or garden supplies. WHAT WILL FIT IN MY STORAGE UNIT?

If you're considering a storage unit, you might be at a loss as to where to start. If you're not sure what size you might need, feel free to call our experts for assistance! We can also give you a general idea of how to begin:
  • A 5x5 unit is about the size of a small closet. It could fit a dresser, a small mattress set, and several boxes of small to medium size. If you're looking for a storage unit to fit some spare belongings, like holiday decorations or gardening equipment, this unit may be the answer.
  • A 5x10 unit is a little larger - about the size of a small walk-in closet. It can fit the items you might find in a medium-sized bedroom, including a dresser, a queen size bed, a television, and several boxes.
  • A 5x15 unit is the size of a large walk-in closer and can fit the furnishings of a single bedroom, or any other room of equivalent size. Think a television, bedroom set, and several small boxes. 
  • A 10x10 unit is about the size of half a garage. If you need to store the contents of multiple rooms, you need a ten-foot unit. A 10x10 is your smallest option, able to hold the contents of a family room or two full bedrooms.
  • A 10x15 unit is slightly smaller than a standard one-car garage. It can fit larger items like couches, pianos, tables, larger televisions, and more.
  • A 10x20 unit is the same size as a standard one-car garage. It can fit the entire contents of a multi-bedroom house, including several oversized items and appliances. It's also a good option if you have a seasonal vehicle to store.
  • A 10x25 unit is slightly larger than a one-car garage. It can fit the entire contents of a completely furnished three-bedroom house.
  • A 10x30 unit is the size of a 1.5 garage. It is our largest option and fits the contents of a fully furnished 3-5 bedroom house. This includes oversized items, appliances, entertainment centers, and boxes of any size.
